The “Cosmos” album by B.I tells the story about the times when unadulterated love filled the universe. “Cosmos” means “universe” and is also the name of a type of flower. B.I stated for this album, “When we were young and naive, love meant everything to us, and it can change our lives and create new universes.”
The entire album evokes a nostalgic 80s aesthetic, reflected in both the music and the visual approach, including B.I’s styling and the music video. To preserve the dreamy retro vibe, a fish-eye photograph was chosen as the focal direction. This not only enhances the retro feel but also symbolizes a round universe, with a cosmos flower at its center, featured as the album cover. Furthermore, each track tells a unique story, accompanied by distinct photographs that align with their individual messages, creating multiple universes. This cohesive visual theme beautifully embodies B.I's concept of love as a force that creates new universes.
