Description:

Over the past two decades, more than 90% of the coral in the Great Barrier Reef has undergone bleaching events at least once. If this alarming pattern persists, corals will not have enough time to recover fully, leading to widespread starvation and the eventual death of the reef.

The Fading Barrier campaign is dedicated to raise awareness of the coral bleaching in the Great Barrier Reef, educate young people and nature lovers regarding the issue and encourage them to join the conservation and restoration effort of the reef. The campaign also aims to provide resources such as related organisations or volunteering opportunities to take actual actions. 

The campaign's overarching message is 'The reef is bleaching and fading, the reef is weeping.' The wordings are created from the reef's viewpoint. Soft and vibrant colours convey emotive yet positive emotions.
